ACT WITH US
Sing Together is proud of its creative partnership with the Creative Learning department at the Churchill Theatre, Bromley. In 2024 we launched the Part Time Acting programme for adults.
This course would suit both aspiring actors and more experienced performers who want to brush up on their craft.
We encourage people of all classes, races, genders, and nationalities to train with us.
Applications from mature students are welcome as we have no upper age limit. Our minimum age is 18.
Tuition fees are payable in advance each term, and we have easy payment options available.
Led by industry specialists, with years of experience lecturing at leading London drama schools, the course consists of three intensive terms during which the students are taught basic stagecraft, receive Voice, Movement and Singing classes, prepare Verse and Text Monologues, and rehearse and perform scenes from classic plays by playwrights such as Henrik Ibsen, Anton Chekhov, Federico Garcia Lorca, and Bertolt Brecht.
Towards the end of the course, the students rehearse a contemporary play to be performed in front of an invited audience of their peers, friends and family.
For those who show exceptional potential, there is the option of a final course, which is by invitation only and is offered as an intensive fortnight over 10 evenings, and covers the professional aspects of the acting profession, rehearsing monologues, preparing CVs, headshots, and the self-tape audition. This course culminates with a final presentation in front of an invited audience of business professionals.
Our alumnae are often given opportunities to work within the theatre.
